Nelson Pine was at the biennial South Island agricultural field days, held in late March at Lincoln, pushing the benefits of portal sheds with our customer and associate company, Timbercore.

These sheds are gaining popularity on farms, for use in wintering dairy stock, and for storing implements, grain and stock feed.

LVL Sales Engineer Andy Van Houtte says the display shed section created a lot of interest: “It was a 24m span, so it really showed what’s possible with the strength of LVL,” he said. “It was stained, well finished and looked good compared with steel options.”
