They’re buying our board in Calgary

Calgary and Edmonton are well inland, but our Canadian distributors, Canusa Wood Products, are trucking our GoldenEdge Superlite half way across the continent from the Port of Vancouver. It says a lot about the quality of our product that people are prepared to pay the freight-added costs to buy it so far from Nelson, New Zealand.

Richard Tellis from Canusa says this truck was heading to Alberta, Canada for a customer who purchased a mixed truck-load including plywood from Russia, China and Malaysia as well as our MDF. He says almost all Superlite MDF sales in Canada are sold ex-warehouse, rather than direct from containers.

“We understand that it is integral for the wholesale distributors to have the opportunity to buy in smaller mixed lots with short lead times, which is why we maintain a regular inventory of Superlite to support customer’s specific programs.”
